The material is designed primarily to absorb unwanted high frequencies. The unique pressure sensitive properties also make it great for sandwiching between panels. After application the material fills the gaps between the surfaces. Sound Absorber can also be used behind speakers or inside a bass enclosures as a diffuser. The ‘egg box’ form on the surface absorbs 30-40% more sound than plain material.

Cancels Speaker Back-Waves: Placed directly behind mid-bass door speakers to neutralize rear acoustic reflections, yielding tighter, cleaner speaker response. Progressive Compression: Fills empty voids between plastic door panels and the structural steel body frame to stop loose factory wiring or plastic trim from rattling when bass hits. Shape Memory Foam: Compresses effortlessly under plastic panels without pushing them out of alignment, then gently expands to damp internal panel flex.
