The all new PT-9A+ Polarity Tester is an essential measurement tool for building and tuning great car audio systems. It’s critical to identify/verify the correct polarity of speakers before and after installation. It’s also important to understand the polarity of the electrical signals that connect to the speakers in OEM audio integration, as well as correctly identifying which wires correspond to which speaker locations. The PT-9A+ does all of that in a compact, easy-to-use tool. Cancellation between audio signals (acoustic or electrical) is the number one problem that plagues most car audio systems which exhibit poor sound performance.  When all of the audio system’s signals and speakers are correct in polarity, only then can you do effective tuning for optimum sound quality.

The PT-9A+ has a safe, low voltage output pulse that means no damage to CAN Bus wires, Air Bag wires or other sensitive circuits if you mistake other vehicle wiring for audio signal or speaker wiring. No more popping speakers with power tool batteries, please! If you do any kind of audio system installation, particularly OEM audio integration, the PT-9A+ is a tool you can’t be without.
