Overview
Heat Shrink Braided Cable Sleeve 25mm is a hybrid cable-management solution that combines the expanding protection of a woven braided mesh with the tight conformity of heat shrink tubing
Specifications
Typically features a 2:1 shrink ratio, adapting down from its max 25mm form factor to safely grip smaller wiring harnesses. Material Composition: Polyolefin and cross-woven structural filaments. Temperature Stability: Designed to withstand common automotive cabin heat and trunk conditions without melting or losing elasticity.
Key features
Standard braided sleeves are highly flexible but prone to slipping, while basic smooth polyolefin heat shrink restricts wire movement. This product integrates polyester or polyolefin filaments with a heat-shrinkable structure. When heat is applied via a heat gun, the individual weave elements physically shrink inward, locking the braided mesh permanently and snugly around irregular wiring contours. When stiff wires or raw plastic looms brush against a car’s metal frame or inner plastic panels, they create persistent cabin rattles. The thick fabric-style weave acts as a built-in mechanical shock absorber. This dampens movements, rendering the wire completely silent when routed through doors, side-kick panels, or trunk structures
